I was inspired for the project by the way we receive natural light every day: from space. With the possibility to laser cut it at a local public workspace, i wanted to create a lamp, which creates the illusion of a floating light bulb in space, just like a planet therefore the name "lampe planétaire" French for "planet lamp".
Prototyping was quite a tedious process. I first had to learn to laser cut properly and to get the design just right, so the lamp would be stable. However once I had everything right it was really easy to reproduce them. The lamp is now available for purchase @kiosk.io
